American Airlines began seasonal flights between New York and Rio de Janeiro

On October 29th, American Airlines resumed its seasonal operations between New York and Rio de Janeiro.

The route will be served three times a week, landing in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings, with late evening take-offs on the same days. The carrier will operate this route with Boeing 777-200(ER) aircraft, configured for 273 passengers.

American Airlines expects the route to have daily flights during the high season at the beginning of 2024.
