Azul inaugurates flights between Belo Horizonte and Curaçao

Azul Linhas Aéreas inaugurated this Saturday, June the 24th, its new route connecting the International Airport of Belo HorizonteTancredo Neves, in Confins (MG), and Curaçao.

The island is located in the Caribbean Sea and is part of an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, together with Aruba and Saint Maarten.

Besides offering miners another destination option, the flight is a strategic move for Azul, since BH Airport is the company’s second largest hub and receives passengers from all over the country who wish to connect to other regions of Brazil and abroad.

As announced by AEROIN, flight AD8786 will depart Confins on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m., arriving at the destination at 6:00 p.m. In the opposite direction, flight AD8787 will take off on Sundays, leaving the Caribbean island at 8:30 a.m. and arriving at 4:00 p.m. in Belo Horizonte.

The services will be performed with Airbus A320neo aircraft, a model that is configured with 174 seats in the Azul Linhas Aéreas fleet. In today’s first flight, the jet used is the one registered under the PR-YRD registration number, which received a sticker allusive to the Caribbean destination.
