American Airlines carried out its last flight between Miami and Montevideo
Following five months of operations, American Airlines made its last flight of the summer season to Montevideo on Saturday (25). The U.S. company had three weekly services to and from Miami in the 234-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
Uruguay will once again be without a non-stop connection to the United States after American’s termination. Until before the Coronavirus pandemic, this route was operated year-round by the airline.
In the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, American Airlines flights between Miami and Montevideo are listed as of October 30th, although at the time of publishing this note, there is no confirmation whether they will take place or not.
