Delta strengthens its operation between the United States and Paris
Delta is strengthening its summer season 2023 operations between the United States and Paris, the main hub of partner Air France. The airline will increase seat and flight capacity on key routes to the French capital.
According to data obtained through Cirium, the Atlanta-based airline will offer 53,643 weekly seats between the U.S. and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), a 46.4% increase in capacity compared to last year’s levels.
Delta offers nonstop flights to Paris (CDG) from Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Cincinnati (CVG), Detroit (DTW), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis (MSP), Raleigh/Durham (RDU), Seattle – Tacoma (SEA) and Salt Lake City (SLC).
From the Big Apple to the Eiffel Tower
The U.S. airline by the end of May, will offer up to three daily flights between John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Paris (CDG), all services will be operated on Boeing 767-400ERs with 238 seats in four classes (34 Delta One/20 Premium Select/28 Delta Comfort+/156 Main Cabin).
Delta and its joint venture partner Air France will offer 10 daily flights between the New York metropolitan area and the French capital this summer season, making it the largest alliance in this market.

Route details
- Starting August 20, flights DL 266/DL 267 change aircraft from Boeing 767-400ER to Airbus A330-300 with a capacity of 282 passengers.
- Delta will offer 10,612 seats per week between New York and Paris.
According to data obtained through Department of Transportation (DOT) statistics, 1,608,621 passengers were moved in 2019 between John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), it was the second busiest route between the United States and Europe.
Minneapolis (MSP)
By the end of April, Delta is increasing the route between Minneapolis (MSP) and Paris (CDG) from 7 to 10 flights per week, replacing the service of its partner, which will suspend operations to Minnesota for this summer season. The U.S. airline will offer up to two daily flights between MSP – CDG by the end of June.

Atlanta (ATL)
From its mega hub in Atlanta (ATL), the airline will increase its operations to Paris from 14 to 18 weekly flights, and several services will be operated on Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a capacity of 339 passengers in three classes (30 Delta One/63 Delta Comfort+/246 Economy).

Other Changes
- The Raleigh/Durham (RDU) – Paris (CDG) route increases from 4 to 7 weekly flights effective March 25, 2023, also changes aircraft from Boeing 767-300ER to 767-400ER.
- The Cincinnati (CVG) – Paris (CDG) route from March 25, 2023 changes equipment from Boeing 767-300ER to 767-400ER.
- Resumption of service between Los Angeles (LAX) – Paris (CDG) changes from Airbus A330-900neo to A350-900 equipment with Delta One Suites cabins beginning May 8, 2023.
